Metro Pro League: Bridge FC, Remo Stars In Floodlights Duel

The Metro Pro League management has concluded plans to host its first ever match under the floodlights as league leaders, Remo Stars battle their eternal rivals Bridge FC tonight at the Agege Stadium.
The tie, according to the League’ Chief Executive Officer, Victor Akinyooye, promises to be an exciting one as both clubs have not lost any games since the Season Two of the Lagos-private owned league kicked off in April.
The football administrator disclosed that the idea behind night games is to ensure that the fans remain connected with the club sides in their campaign in the Metro Pro League.

Akinyooye said: “We discovered that some of the mid week games are fixed after the work hours and some supporters might find it difficult to see their teams play, hence there is need to create an avenue to wet their appetite.

“So, we enjoin football fans in the state to storm the Agege Stadium en mass to cheer their teams to victory.”
It would be battle royale tonight as Remo Stars lead the pack with 10 points from four games, while their opponents Bridge FC with a game in hand are trailing with 7 points.
