NFF SHOULD RETIRE JERSEY NO. 4 IN KESHI’S HONOUR – Prince Elutabe

The sudden death of former Captain and coach of Super Eagles, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi, as continued to witness lots of emotional outpour from stakeholders and lovers of the game.

The latest remark came from the President of Lagos based non league side, Freestan football club, Prince Efemena Elutabe, who stated that Nigeria and world football have been thrown into deep mourning over Keshi’s death.

“We have definitely lost a legend. And Nigeria and African football will never be the same again. Keshi has left his marks on the sands of time, “Prince Elutabe stated.

“As a matter of importance, I want to strongly advocate and also advise that the NFF should retire the number four jersey which Stephen Keshi worn with pride and honour whilst he played for the country from his youth days, “the football entrepreneur enthused.
