It was all fireworks at the Western Conference Semi-Final games of the 18TH Nestle Milo Secondary School Basketball Championship at the indoor sport hall of National Stadium Lagos. In the Girls Categories, Wesley Girls Senior Sec School Lagos State, defeated Ugborikoko Sec School Warri, Delta State 25-08 .
In second Semi-Final played, Yejide Girls Grammar school ibadan, Oyo State confirmed their superiority over Anglican High School Ado, Ekiti State with an emphatic 36-16 points to set a date with the host state in the western conference final. Yejide Girls Grammar school coach, Yemi Abiodun, praised the girls for their resilience. He said, “I asked my players to take it easy and play their normal game without underrating their opponents.
The Final match between Yejide Girls Grammar ibadan, Oyo State and Wesley Girls Snr Secondary School Lagos will come up Today at the indoor sport hall of National Stadium Lagos.
This will precede the boys Final match which is expected to start at 1pm
