Kenya and Egypt Through To World Volleyball Championship’s Final Qualifiers

Kenya Women’s volleyball team have won zone 5 qualifiers for the 2018 FIVB World Championship after their victory over giants Egypt 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-17) in the third and final day of the 4 Nation qualifying tournament held in Nairobi, Kenya this weekend.

Kenya led the tournament with a win loss ratio of 3-0 followed by Egypt 2-1 as both teams continued their way to the qualification finals to be held jointly with the African Nations Championship in Cameroon in October 2017.

In the 3rd place match of the tournament Uganda cruised past Rwanda 3-2 (23-25, 19-25, 25-16. 25-23, 15-9).
