Nigerian Squash Players To host U16 And U19 Tournament

In a bid to save the game of Squash from dying, players of the Squash Racket game across Nigeria and in diaspora are putting together a 3-Day U16 and U19 tournament tagged, the First Ex-Squash Pro U16 and U19 National Squash Tournament.

According to the Tournament Director, Sunday Wilson Egberipou, the tournament which is slated to hold at the Squash Court of the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos is deemed as an intervention to save the sport that was once a household among sports in Nigeria.

Squash Players in Nigeria hardly have any Squash tournament to look forward to during the course of the year, and this as greatly affected the fortunes of the sport in Nigeria.

The tournament aimed at discovering and exposing young Squash players in the country will hold between April 27th and 29th 2017.
